Ignoring Fox News polling, Fox News’ Neil Cavuto claims ‘tea party’ protests are ‘a popular wave.’

By Matt Corley

On his Fox News show today, Neil Cavuto joined the rest of Fox News in promoting the radical anti-Obama “tea party” protests, one of which he will be attending and broadcasting from next week. Arguing with radio show host Leslie Marshall, Cavuto claimed that the protests were “a popular wave” sweeping across the country. Watch it:

But Cavuto’s claim ignores a Fox News poll released last week, which found that only 36 percent of Americans said they would “be willing to join” a “tea party” protest.

MCL comment: I don't mind people voicing displeasure about President Obama but here's the thing the people who are now screaming about President Obama and his policies are the same ones who only a mere five years ago were claiming those who didn't support then President George W. Bush were anti American, they wanted the country to fail etc. Not only they want President Obama to fail they enciting violence towards that president. Could you image if liberals and a hand full of Democratic senators or congressmen formed a group that was this hostile to President Bush in this matter as they are to president Obama, you think anyone on Fox News or in the right wing sludge machine defend this group?
