DEARBORN (WWJ) – Judge Mark Somers set bond of one dollar each for Terry Jones and his associate Wayne Sapp.
The bond conditions also said the two could not set foot on the property of the Islamic Center of America or property adjacent to the mosque.
Both Jones and Sapp refused to pay the one dollar and were ordered to the Wayne County Jail.
The bond was set immediately after the Dearborn jury had decided that the Rev. Terry Jones’ planned demonstration outside a Michigan mosque would constitute a breach of the peace.
