On his June 8 radio program, Republican talk show host Rush Limbaugh took an amazingly low shot at President Barack Obama’s nominee to the Supreme Court.
Reacting to news that Sonya Sotomayor fractured her ankle in a slight stumble at a New York airport, Limbaugh asked, “Now, the question is, would a white, male judge have fractured his ankle in the same circumstances?”
Rush, having previously called Sotomayor a “reverse racist” and “hack” whom he hopes to fail, said recently that he may actually support her candidacy if there’s a hit of possibility for her support of overturning Roe v. Wade, which guarantees the woman’s right to reproductive choice.
