How did Rick Snyder pull it off?

Days after Rick Snyder's victory local pundits tripped over themselves trying to explain how a man who has no political experience and who never held an elected office became governor of this state. I'm going to explain how he won, yeah I know you folks out there are going to say "dude the election was two months ago let it go."And I will say yeah dude you're correct I'm doing this because I didn't take a chance to voice my opinion on the subject. So I'm going to break down the real reasons he won not the bull crap ones pundits like Timmy Skubick gave at the time.
1. Splitting of the nutjob vote: During the Republican primaries Pete Hoekstra, douche of the year Mike Cox and Mike Bouchard all fought for the wing nut vote, leaving Rick Snyder to appear moderate to less insane members of the Michigan Republican voting bloc. And when the wing nut vote got split up between three people Snyder was left standing.
2. Money: Between his own wealth and the foreign corporate funded Republican Governors Association they swamped Democratic challenger Virg Bernero with negative ads. And Virg Bernero operating with a budget that rivals a small indie movie's budget couldn't compete with Rick Snyder.
3. Michigan Democratic Party: Despite the fact they was pretty much running against Dick DeVos again, the state party dropped the ball by not really helping Virg Bernero either with funding or pushing a aggressive message to counter the vague campaign of Rick Snyder. And here in Detroit Dave Bing gave at best a luke warm endorsement of Berneo. And not to forget sore loser and now foot solider in the Snyder administration Andy Dillon, after his primary defeat he slithers off somewhere and didn't even give a word of support. Even the Clintons stomped for then senator Barack Obama after a tough primary season.
Progressives taking their ball and going home: Progressive had a true blue progressive running for governor but punished him because they felt President Obama wasn't meeting their pet political issues the way they wanted him to do.
4. Media: The media avoided the subject of Rick Snyder and outsourcing like people avoid their creepy relatives or overdo bills. And it seem like the media went into some self imposed blackout of the race only giving us updates of Rick Snyder having a double digit lead over Bernero. And the media let the Snyder campaign call the shots, going from three debates to none and finally settling on one on a day with not too many people are watching. And it seems the media didn't really cared what Rick Snyder truly believes in and it didn't care Snyder was avoiding letting his personal beliefs to be known outside those who attended his "open" town hall events.
Go back to Rick Snyder's endorsements from the Detroit News, Free Press and that paper you train dogs to use the bathroom with the Michigan Chronicle none of these newspapers couldn't list one real reason why Rick Snyder should be elected for the most part their endorsement of Snyder were vague. And the ironic part of their endorsement while they cite his background in business they avoid his record of outsourcing thousands of Michigan jobs. I have no faith in Rick Snyder, not because he's a Republican and I'm a Democratic blogger. It's base on the simple fact when someone hides their true beliefs there is a reason why they're hiding it. On top of that I've seen this whole I'm a uniter not a divider movie already..
