Readers searching for failed Delaware Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell's new book may get more than they bargained for.
The book, Troublemaker: Let's Do What It Takes to Make America Great Again, isn't due out until next week, but clever detractors have already "bombed" O'Donnell's Amazon.com page by associating her name with products like vibrators, sex guides and books about witches.
The tagged items are clearly intended to mock O'Donnell's past statements.
For example, the Hello Kitty Vibrator and Getting Off: A Woman's Guide to Masturbation are probably a response to her stance against masturbation. A DVD of the movie The 40-Year-Old Virgin is most likely making fun of her pro-abstinence views. The Evil Warlock Costume and the book Luciferian Magick riff off her claim that she once practiced witchcraft.
Amazon's guidelines do not specifically ban malicious tagging, but the use of "[p]rofane or obscene language, inciting or spiteful tags" is not allowed.
