– “We in no way want to promote the hateful rhetoric of Mr. Glenn Beck, and therefore take this matter very seriously,” said Dino Balzano, director of advertising at Concord Music Group, parent company of Hear Music, in an email to ColorOfChange.org.
– “We do not intend to have any additional ad placements during the program,” said Jeff Flaherty, spokesperson for Marriott International, in an email to ColorOfChange.org. “I’d like to point out that diversity and inclusion are core values at Marriott and an essential component of our success.”
– “I first learned about this controversy [in November] and asked Fox to take his show out of our rotation,” said Steve Schwartz, executive vice president of consumer services for Intersections, Inc., in an email to ColorOfChange.org. “We no longer advertise on Glenn Beck’s show.”
MCL comment: I know there's a lot of talk about the grand wizard of the tea party movement, let's be real here I doubt Becky believes in half the crap that come out of his mouth. Beck knows the kinds of people he reaches they're either white and old or white and really people who hate the idea of having a color fella being president. So Beck stirs their hate and fears in them for a buck because it's far more easy to incite violence or exploit people's worst nature than actually have people believe in policies that benefits them.
And when one of his loony listeners or viewers act i.e kill cops or kill a security guard at a Holocaust museum Beck washes his hands and backs away acting like " I don't know where he got that idea from". Beck and his fellow ass clowns at Fox News like to crow about their ratings, here's a nasty little secret about Fox News "ratings" conservative, right wingers and other loons on the far right engaged in something called group think.
When every right wing douchebag in the country watching your channel of course you outrank MSNBC and CNN in viewership. Liberals and sane people don't need a 24 hour confirmation in what they believe in is right.
