Tea Party sign threatens gun violence if health care passes.

By Think Progress Tea Party activists have gathered on Capitol Hill today for a “Code Red” rally against health care reform. Speakers at the event included Republican Reps. Steve King (IA), Michele Bachmann (MN), and Mike Pence (IN). The gathering was organized by Tea Party Profiteer organizations like FreedomWorks and Americans for Prosperity. ThinkProgress attended today’s rally and spotted a sign threatening violence if health care passes. The sign reads: “Warning: If Brown can’t stop it, a Browning can,” referring to Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) and a Browning firearm: Tea Party gun sign Update Cameron Brenchley caught another shot of the signs: Update Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN) told The Hill that Tea Party protesters today called Rep. John Lewis (D-GA), a distinguished civil rights leader, the n-word. Update Another sign caught by flickr user TigerHawkBlog: Obama/Hitler sign M.C.L comment: I wished these tea party folks just admit they're anger and rage comes from the fact that the President of the United States is a black guy or as they put it the N-word or if you're southern tea party member a color fella or negro. These tea bag punks didn't raised a peep during the Bush years, they didn't scream when Bush and his goose steeping GOP majority were spending us into record debt, they didn't scream when the bailouts first happen under Bush, they didn't ask anyone to read the bill when Bush pushed through the patriot act, while they whine about what the health care bill will cost I don't remember tea baggers being angry when 9 billion turned up missing in Iraq, they claim these events are non political yet their speakers are either currently elected Republican officials or they're former elected Republican officials. And here's the real hypocrisy of the tea party movement the same people who are screaming about freedom of speech were the ones that tried to silence Bush's critics, they called you anti-American or they tried to ruin your lively hood ask the Dixie Chicks and Danny Glover.
